In September 2011, Miramichi pharmacist Scott Knowles passed away, but his memory remains alive through an annual golf tournament that carries his name. The 9th Annual Scott Knowles Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on August 6, 2021.
The Rotary Club of Newcastle has announced that the Scott Knowles Memorial Hockey Pool is set to go for the 2021-2022 NHL season.
As well as being a Pharmacist, Scott Knowles was the President of the New Brunswick Pharmacists Association, member of the Rotary Club of Newcastle, served on the National Advisory Board for TEVA pharmaceuticals and was involved in the annual Miramichi Rock ‘n Roll Festival.
